A Little About Us

A Little AboutUs

We are ex-corporate people (& entrepreneurs) who have worked for many companies, helped many companies, and even started our own companies.

Marianne started her career in Information Technology, including computer operations, application programming, system software programming & then into disaster recovery, business continuity & crisis management.

She has held several high level positions for large corporations in Risk Management, Business Continuity & Crisis Management as well as working in the public sector of Emergency Management.

She transitioned out of corporate America (by choice) in 2016 to work full time with individuals, helping them improve their personal risk management and live the lives they deserve – Simply, Conveniently & Reasonably.

Before John’s career in Computer Disaster Recovery, he was an aspiring auto mechanic and Rock and Roll Bass player, opening for groups such as the Association and Cryan Shames.

Then one day in the late 60’s, a colleague said “I think this computer thing is gonna be a big deal, you should look into it”.

40 years later John has run major computer centers, been a Mainframe Systems Programmer, and transitioned into the Computer and Business Disaster recovery industry, running major businesses for Comdisco and IBM.

He started several successful companies, and now focuses on helping professionals with their own risk management issues.  Awarded the Business Continuity Institutes Lifetime Achievement Award, managing risk and helping people is in his blood.

We love to travel, love our families & are doggie-parents.

We have 1 therapy dog who specializes in working with Dementia patients, and lost our older therapy dog August 2020.  We rescued another pup, and will be working with her this year to hopefully bring her into the world of helping others too.

We are members of the (Arizona) Carefree / Cave Creek Commerce of Commerce, and attend Scottsdale Bible Church.
